Holi (Hindu 'Festival of Colours') Inspired Art

In RE, we worked in groups to create artwork inspired by the Hindu festival of Holi. The festival marks the arrival of spring and is observed throughout the world. In class, we used using brightly coloured paints to make a series of patterns. We hope you enjoy our artwork as much as we did creating it!

World Book Day 2022

Our class thoroughly enjoyed dressing up as their favourite book characters for World Book Day. It was great sharing our stories with one another too!

Chinese New Year - Dragon Dance Workshop

We celebrated Chinese New Year by taking part in exciting dragon dance workshop! We learnt traditional dance moves and a huge dragon prop to bring our dance to life.

Trip Headingley Water Treatment Works

We visited Headingley Water Treatment Works to find out about the water cycle and the ways in which we can save water. We toured the plant to witness first-hand how water is cleaned and made safe to drink. It was such a fun and informative morning, despite the cold weather!
