Young Artists Summer Show 2021
This is a fantastic opportunity for you to showcase your beautiful artwork!
The Royal Academy of Arts is hosting its summer show in May and they are on the hunt for artwork to display. Maybe you have something which you would like to enter? Or perhaps you would like to create a piece?
Please click here to enter your submission and to find out more information. Each pupil can submit up to 3 pieces.
Our school has signed up, so all you need to do is ask your parents permission and upload a photo of your artwork.
There is no theme and your work can be done using whatever mediums you enjoy! So it really is an open opportunity to showcase some of your fabulous work.
Your work may be selected to be showcased in an online gallery, or on-site at the Royal Academy of Arts.
Creative experiences are excellent for helping us to improve our mental health and mood. Why not start your own project?
Please find some ideas below. These ideas use lots of things that you may already have around the house, please do check with an adult before you add anything specific to their shopping list.
We would love to see your projects/pieces, so please email them to your teachers and they will appear in our 'Gallery'.

What a great way to relax, by making your own stress ball and giving it a big squeeze! You will need a balloon, a sandwich bag and some flour for this project. Please find the instructions here.
Home Made Bird Feeders
What could be better than sitting inside, with a warm drink, watching birds out of your window enjoying a snack from a bird feeder that you have made? Why not give it a go and see how many different types of birds you can see?
Please find the instructions here.
Blow Painting
This looks like such a fun way to experiment with colour, shape and texture. You will need paint/food colouring, a straw/tube and some paper.
