Please support your child at home to learn their KIRF Targets. These are changed half-termly and feed into our Maths learning in school.

17.11.2020 Art Day

We had such a busy day creating our Stone Age cave paintings. We started by analysing cave paintings, we then made sketches of them. Next, we drew some designs and practised different techniques for using oil pastels, before finally creating a completed scene depicting life in the Stone and Iron Ages.

11.11.2020 Remembrance Day

We celebrated Remembrance Day by taking part in lots of themed activities. We learnt a poem about the war and recited this in groups, which we were even able to perform to the rest of the class. We also created our own Remembrance Day poppies and artwork, creating a night sky background and a silhouette of a soldier or cross.

10.11.2020 Diwali Afternoon

We celebrated Diwali by taking part in themed activities. We enjoyed learning about Rama and Sita and acted out parts of the story. We got creative and made our own Diwali lanterns, whilst listening to some Indian music to get us in the mood.

7.11.2020 Spanish Afternoon

We loved our Spanish themed afternoon. We had lots of fun making castanetes! We found out some key facts about Spain and Spanish people. We really enjoyed watching and listening to some Flamenco dancers too.

Home Learning

If you are isolating at home but are well enough to continue learning, we have created a Home Learning page to ensure you do not fall behind. Please follow the link below to access the Home Learning activities.
