We are the Dazzling Dolphins, the Year 5 Class.

Our Staff Team:

Mrs Hartshorne - Class Teacher (Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday AM)

Mr Lockwood - DHT & Class Teacher (Wednesday PM/Thursday/Friday)

Miss Brooks - Teaching Assistant

Useful Information:

PE is on a Friday, pupils should come to school dressed in their PE kit.

Homework is set on a Friday to completed by the following Wednesday. In KS2, this is usually set on Mathletics and Spelling shed, please find the links to these websites in the 'Useful Links' section.'

We will be using the Main Gate, alongside the Y5 and Y6 classes and the children will enter school through the main entrance. We ask that pupils only bring to school with them a coat and their lunch/water bottle, book bags are not required at the moment.

Welcome Back!

It was fabulous to welcome the children back into school today; they looked incredibly smart in their uniforms and they really enjoyed spending time with their friends once again. Mr Lockwood is looking forward to being back in school and meeting you all!

DT Christmas Biscuit House Project

We have had lots of festive fun planning and building our own Christmas themed biscuit houses!

October is known in the UK as being Black History Month. It is a time to reflect upon and learn about outstanding black individuals who have changed history and influenced society. Read through the Black History month PowerPoint to find out more.

Learning Log Task:

Research our assigned individual - Chadwick Boseman (you could use the resources provided below as a starting point). Create a learning log about his life, achievements and contribution to society. As always, you can be as creative as you wish in how you present your findings. You may create a fact file, a movie, a piece of art, a biography, a news report...anything you decide to share their story for others to learn.

Home Learning

If you are having to isolate at home but are well we have created a home-learning page to ensure you do not fall behind in your learning whilst at home.
