Mrs Hodgson - Teaching Assistant (Monday - Thursday)
Miss Webber - Teaching Assistant (Friday)
PE is on a Tuesday (note this has changed from Monday). Pupils should come to school dressed in their PE kit.
Entry / Exit from School:
Our class will enter the school from the side gate on Carlisle Road. Parents and Carers drop off and collect their child outside the classroom door at the bottom of the steps in the Year 1 playground. You may then exit through the gate at the bottom of the playground which leads to the ginnel. Please turn right and follow the one way system in the ginnel.

Our Weekly Class Blog

We have had a super couple of weeks and have had lots of fun and are getting stuck into our new routines so well. We have done some fabulous work and have tried our very best.
Over the past two weeks, we have drawn calm jars, practised lots of counting and writing numbers, described feelings using The Colour Monster book (available as a narrated story online too if you want to listen to it at home), coloured in some African Tinga Tinga animals, printed with our hands to make googly eye elephants, shown off our phonics skills, practised our letter formation, created a class Tanzania flag with cotton bud printing, read lots of stories, done some groovy dancing and body percussion to music and have voted for our class happy song- Waka Waka (This Time For Africa). Phew!
Continuous and Enhanced Provision:
We have also enjoyed exploring the indoor and outdoor provision areas every day. Here are some photos of our different areas. The challenges in each area change regularly to link to our current learning.
