May Half Term Holiday

May Half Term Holiday!

Happy Half Term Persevering Pumas!

A huge well done to all of you (and your extremely supportive and hard-working parents) for all of your dedication and maturity towards home learning this half term. It has certainly been the strangest half-term I've ever experienced and I think you've all done an incredible job of continuing to learn at home. It has been incredible to receive so many photographs of the wonderful work you've done and, most importantly, to see that you've all still got your beaming smiles! Whilst there isn't any formal home learning this week, as you all definitely deserve a well earned break, I have posted a few ideas and activities that you can enjoy whilst you're at home. Hopefully the sun will continue to shine and you'll all have lots of fun with your families!

Stay safe everyone,

Miss Winkley

Throughout the lockdown, I have seen lots of pictures of and heard about many of you taking up a new hobby and doing lots of delicious baking! In case you'd like some inspiration, I've found a few recipes of some yummy treats that you can have a go at making for the whole family to enjoy.

I also know that lots of you enjoy taking a daily walk. There's lots of great places to explore around Pudsey and it's fantastic to see that you're taking advantage of being able to discover your local area. To occupy you on the way, why not have a go at one of the sheets below, there's a scavenger hunt and a big bird watch; I'd love to see what you find!

As you'll also be spending lots of time at home and your lovely parents might still be working, I've added a few more fun activities below that you could have fun with. It'd be great to see you transform into amazing artists, marvellous magicians and dazzling designers!
Finally, you might like to create a journal of one of your days so that you're able to look back on what life was like during your school holiday in lockdown. Take a look at these cool sheets which might give you some inspiration!
Don't forget, if you want to still do some online learning, then you have still access to so many resources on MathleticsSpelling Shed, TT Rock StarsBug ClubEducation City and BBC BitesizeYou can also check out the Music, Science and P.E. pages on the website too for lots of fun links and activities. Enjoy!
