Meet the team:

PE Day:
PE is on a Monday, pupils should come to school dressed in their PE kit. Long hair tied back and earrings either removed or covered with tape!
Entry / Exit from School:
Our class will enter the school from the side gate on Carlisle Road between 8:45am-8:50am. Parents and Carers drop off and collect their child at the doors parallel to Carlisle Road (the door to the left as you come into the playground). You may then follow around into the Year 1 playground and exit through the gate at the bottom of the playground which leads to the ginnel. Please turn right and follow the one way system in the ginnel. End of school day 3:15pm.
Homework:
Homework is set on a Friday to be completed by the following Wednesday.

Please find our latest newsletters and information for parents and carers in the folders below. The KIRF targets are 'Key Instant Recall Facts' in Maths. They focus on basic mental Maths recall skills to support the children in increasing their speed and accuracy of mental calculation. Please support your child at home to learn their KIRF Targets. These are changed each half-term and feed into our Maths learning in school. Please also find below the Year 1 and Year 2 Common Exception Words. These are words which don't follow a spelling rule or pattern and many of which phonics won't apply to. Please support your child to learn the Common Exception Words at home.

Down below you will find the range of different online resources your child can access at home. Logins have been sent home with your child for these so please encourage them to log on and have a go as often as possible. Sometimes the children's homework will be set on these platforms so please keep a look out for added tasks.
