Useful Information

PE is on a Thursday, pupils should come to school dressed in their PE kit.

Homework is set on a Friday to completed by the following Wednesday. In KS2, this is usually set on Mathletics and Spelling shed, please find the links to these websites in the 'Useful Links' section.'

We will be using the KS2 Gate, which is in the KS2 playround, alongside the Y3 and Y3/4 classes and the children will enter school by the fire door at the bottom of the stairs. We ask that pupils only bring a coat and their lunch/water bottle to school with them, book bags are not required at the moment.

Autumn Term Information

Please find below our newsletter for the first Autumn term as well as our KIRF information for this half term.

Please support your child at home to learn their KIRF (Key Instant Recall Facts) Targets, these are changed half-termly and feed into our maths learning in school. It is vital that children are regularly working on their mental maths skills.

11.11.2020 - Remembrance Day

We celebrated Rebembrance day today at school by taking part in lots of themed activities. We learnt a poem about the war and recited this in groups whilst coming up with our own actions to go with the words too. It was exciting making up our own actions and some of us even got to perform to the rest of the class! We also created our own Rembrance day art, creating a night sky background and a silhouette of a soldier or cross.

wb 3.11.2020 Science Week

We had such a great first week back at school learning all about skeletons, muscles and nutrition. We enjoyed looking at food packaging to find out which nutrients are in different foods. We also learnt the scientific names for our bones and created our own skeletons, labelling them with the correct names. We found out how our muscles work and worked in teams to create our very own 'muscle arm'.

Welcome Back!

It was fabulous to welcome the children back into school today; they looked incredibly smart in their uniforms and they really enjoyed spending time with their friends once again. We are all so looking forward to an excting half term!

Autumn Term

We had lots of fun making Stone Age like necklaces to kick start our Stone Age history topic!
