WB 30.03.20 Week 2
Home Learning - Week Beginning 30.03.2020
Hello Anacondas! It's our second week of Home Learning and our final week before the Easter holidays - not long to go now! Planned for this week are English, Maths, Geography, French and PE. Please remember you don't need to get everything done but the more you do, the better you'll become! Complete the activities in your own time, have fun and stay safe. Mr Khan, Miss Brooks and Miss Brown
In English, we would like you to write a non-chronological report on Brazil. Use the documents below to plan and write your report. We have also assigned activities on Education City, Bug Club and Spelling Shed for you to complete.
In Maths this week, Year 3 will continue learning about fractions whilst Year 4 will continue their unit on decimals. Like last week, there are 5 lessons with teaching videos, activity sheets and answers on the White Rose Hub website. Once you have completed all 5 lessons, we have assigned activities on Mathletics to consolidate your learning for Year 3, whilst Year 4 can practise their times tables on TTRS.
Topic - Geography
Your topic learning this week is a continuation of our work on the rainforest, looking at plants and animals which live in the Amazon. Read the document below which outlines the activities for you to complete in your Home Learning Book. If you're feeling creative, feel free to add your own activities to enhance your learning to the ones we've suggested.
Topic - French
Bonjour! As we've worked hard on improving our French skills over the last few months, we thought that it would be great to continue this learning at home. The are a series of challenges on the document below which enable you to practise your French. If you complete either the Bronze, Silver or Gold challenges that have been set, email us with your work and you will be awarded a certificate!
It's time to get a sweat on! Try out some of the websites below for activities to keep fit and active. Joe Wicks will continue to host PE sessions at 9am each morning through his YouTube channel. Or, if it is at all possible and safe, go out and get active!
