Monday 11th January

Today's task will just be to read the next part of the story. Read through the PowerPoint to find the next part of the story. 

Tuesday 12th January

Today you will be reading the next part of the story and mainly using your retrieval skills to answer questions about what you've read.

Wednesday 13th January

Today's task is to read the next part of the story and answer inference style questions about what you've read. Read through the PowerPoint for the next part of the text and to see an example of how you might answer the questions on the worksheet.

Thursday 14th January

Today you will be reading the next part of the story.

Friday 15th January

Last week we uploaded a reading comprehension assessment for you to have a go at. We understand that there was a lot involved with this so as a result some children didn't manage to get through it all, which is absolutely fine. If you didn't manage to complete the whole text, please have a go at the second text on your year groups assessment. Year 4, please read 'The Star' poem and answer the questions based on it. Year 3, please read 'Shark Infested Facts' and answer the questions about this.
