Week beginning 22nd March

On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this week, we are going to be completing a SAT paper in school. If you are at home, please complete some revision by having another go at some of your Mathletics activities (especially those where you have scored less than 80%) and accessing some of the activities, for topics you feel less confident with, on Education City. You may also wish to have a go at the SAT style questions in the booklet below all about Area and Perimeter, which we have just covered at school or you could also try out these arithmetic papers.

On Thursday and Friday, we will be continuing with our unit on "Measurement: Perimeter, Area and Volume". Watch the teaching videos each day to help you complete the corresponding worksheet. If you want further challenges then log on to Education City and complete the related games and activities in the Year 6 Maths section or use the BBC Bitesize Maths Year 6 home learning content. Please also complete your assignments on Mathletics.

If you have any questions or are struggling with any of your work, please get in touch with school via the Year 5/6 email account and someone will get back in touch to support you.

Thursday - Area of a parallelogram

Friday - What is volume?
