Week beginning 8th March
Monday - History DT Day!
Today we will be having a whole day dedicated to DT. We will be researching about, designing, making and evaluating our very own Egyptian Canopic Jars. Read through the instructions and follow the steps to making your very own jar. If you don't have clay at home, why not be creative and come up with another method to make the jars?
Tuesday - RE
This week we will be continuing our unit of work about Muslim beliefs and practices. In today's lesson you will be learning about the second pillar of Islam, Salaah and how it affects a Muslim’s life. You will be considering the commitment required to take part in Salaah every day.
Wednesday - PE & Computing
Today is a PE afternoon. You can complete any activity at home that gets you moving and gets your heart rate up to help keep you physically fit. If you need some ideas please refer to the school PE and Sports blog where there are a range of activity ideas you could choose from.
Today you will be continuing with your coding lessons. Follow the link below to Discovery Experience and log in. Everybody has been set up with their own log in, these are the same as your Mathletics/TTRS Username and Password. Once you have successfully logged in, please complete the Stepping through space activity for this week by watching the learning video and then working through the tasks.
Thursday - PSHE
This week we will be continuing our unit of work about Bullying - see it, say it, stop it! In today's lesson you will be recognising different types of bullying and how to respond to incidents of bullying. As you read through the instructions, pause to watch the video link and after you have completed the activity watch the Anti-Bullying Campaign Clip.
Friday - World Book Day!
We are so excited to be celebrating World Book Day in school today with all of you back. The theme this year is 'Share A Story'. We hope you are dressed as a character from your favourite book and ready to share your stories with us! Please work through the activities below; we cannot wait to see your competition entries so email these in. Remember to complete the Maths learning for today so we stay in-line with the White Rose scheme.
