FROGS (Friends of Greenside School) is a registered charity to raise money for the school which enhances the resources and opportunities provided to children across school.  

We are a group of parent/carer volunteers who host events throughout the school year such as cake sales, discos, the Summer and Christmas fairs and sponsored events.

All teachers and parents/carers are welcome to come to any FROGS meeting to help decide how money should be raised and spent, in collaboration with the headteacher.

FROGS are holding a Autumn Disco our Year 1-6 children at Greenside on Wednesday 16th October 2024.
The Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 disco will be held from 3.30pm-4.30pm. Children are invited to come into school in their party clothes on this day and will not need to be collected from school until the disco ends.
The Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 disco will take place from 4.45pm-5.45pm. Children should be collected from school at 3.15pm and then return at 4.30pm. Willow Tree will not be available to collect or drop off the children from either disco. Care Club will only be available to drop any Year 4, 5 and 6 children to the disco, not for any pick ups.

We are going 'ticketless' again for the disco. Tickets can be purchased for £4 each from Mrs Pollitt on the school playground from the week beginning 30th September, each morning from 8.30am-8.50am and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon from 3.00pm-3.20pm.
PLEASE NOTE: Tickets will only be on sale from MONDAY 30TH SEPTEMBER - FRIDAY 4TH OCTOBER. No further tickets will be added on after this date due to snack bag numbers and facilitating dietary requirements.
There are enough places for everyone and we will not be able to reserve tickets. If you can not make it into school to purchase a ticket, please put £4 in a clearly marked sealed envelope and pass it onto Care Club, Willow Tree, Class Teachers or your child/ren to enable them to purchase a place.

There are enough places for everyone but if you can not get to the school office next week and would like to reserve a ticket, please email admin.info@greenside-sch.org and state your child's name, class and if they have any dietary requirements. Tickets will not be reserved without this information.
